The online InfoDesk is about helping fellow visitors who have questions or problems while attending FOSDEM.
You need to be confident in typing in English, any other languages are of course a benefit.
Some of the tasks you will have while working the virtual InfoDesk will include:
• Providing useful links, such as schedule, t-shirt sales website, etc
• Give 1st level support for connecting to talks on Matrix
• Forward technical issues to FOSDEM Staff
NOTE: Please make sure that your volunteer profile includes your penta account name. If you don’t already have a penta account, you’ll need to go to https://fosdem.org/submit and create an account (not an event), active it, and update your profile at https://penta.fosdem.org/submission/FOSDEM21/person . Then go back to your Volunteer profile, and enter your penta account name. |
